Reproduction is the main reason why we are present today. Created by two individual who shared love, intimacy and pleasure in the process. They are our parents, our parents' parents and our grandparents' parents and so on. We must be thankful to them for they have given us life.
The ideal concept about sex is to find a partner, marry and reproduce. What happen today is they find a partner, have sex and find another. Sometimes, they find a partner, have sex and if resulted to unwanted pregnancy, they both live in. Marriage is soon to follow. What is getting worse today is the misconception of what really sex is for especially the teenagers. The growing influence of technology has gone wild and crazy as well as the effect of social media. Biblically speaking, sex is designed for two individual who are bound to marry making it sacred and holy. Doing it outside marriage is a sin. Yes, they know that. I, you and them know it. Technically, sex today is only a way of fun and is getting more normal. Talk for awhile, meet and boom... they have each other. It goes a cycle like it's more a need than want. (Oh well, that's how it would look like.) It's pleasure over love, pleasure over principle, pleasure over sin and pleasure over marital engagement. And the most common response when these things are brought into conversation is: "We are living in the modern era. Be practical. So get it on."
Thinking about these thoughts, I come up with an inspiring poem about sex. ( I don't know if it sounds inspiring to you but read it below.)

Simply EXtraordinary
(SEX)
It starts from a simple touch
And it grows like it’s a must.
People say, it’s a need
But I disagree ‘coz it’s not, really.
It is made sacred and holy,
For couple who are bound to marry.
Now, it’s just like a game they play.
A play that they would surely pay.
“Part of growing up?” Yes, it is.
But it is not just to please.
For somehow it will lead them to sin,
Where we call regression is in.
Generations passed and it became worst.
Even a simple “hello” is now a curse.
Friendship is after at first,
But it’s the hormones after all that burst.
Why oh why this generation is getting wild?
Is it because of the techy thing they called.
Why don’t look up and submit?
For it is the only way not to commit.

Why did I write this poem?
Okay, for others to know, I am fond of writing poems with different contents. I don't mean to judge anyone or anybody by writing this poem. Honestly, I'm one of those individuals I spoke above. Yes, I don't deny it. The main reason I come up with this poem is not really a self-interest. I have talked to several people who have strong religious beliefs and consider sex a more sensitive issue than any other. Knowing their notions about this thing makes me wonder how many people are doing such. Therefore, I wrote a poem to describe how sex is being perceived by these people I'd talked to. I just admire their courage and bravery to abstain into such inevitable urge. (That's how I describe it because it feel inevitable sometimes. Lol.) The faith is flying above really. It takes enough faith to do it.
Well then, whether you are like those people who have strong religious beliefs and abstain to sex or a normal person who does sex once in awhile with a partner or in a one night stand basis, you are still respected and valued. That if you respect and value yourself first. Take it within before taking it from others.
